    Manufactured from ATL’s FIA/FT3 (1999 specification) 810C Nylon reinforced
    material, each Mitsubishi EVO 7 is supplied fully foam baffled with a ‘6 x 10’ top plate
    fitted with (1) VDO sender unit, (1) –6 fuel return and (1) –6 rollover vent valve.
    To obtain maximum fuel scavenge, a –8 fuel outlet is taken from a lower sump
    (…there is also provision to install an extra –8 fuel outlet for systems that require two
    external high pressure fuel pumps).
    In standard form, the ATL EVO 7 fuel cell is fitted with an aircraft specification flush
    filler cap, however, for FIA WRC events ATL also produce a retro-fit top plate that
    has 2 x –12 adapters to plumb into the Staubli refuelling couplings. This plate is
    simply fitted in place of the flush cap.
    ATL also produce an aluminium casing, manufactured specifically to suit the EVO 7
    and to comply with FIA requirements.
