The new Lifeline Zero 360 gas extinguisher systems is the result of two and a half years of research and development. Zero 360 represents a major step forward in motorsport fire safety, convincingly passing the FIA tests conducted by the British Standards Institute and observed by the MSA/FIA. The system has been awarded homologation number EX.017.03.
The system is 2.25kg in capacity distributing 1.5kg to the engine and 0.75kg to the cockpit. Upon activation the system is pressured by a remote charge and by using "Compression Technology", a constant discharge in any orientation is guaranteed through six nozzles, four for the engine bay and two for the cockpit.
Upon discharge ZERO 360 offers excellent fire knockdown and fire out capabilities. The major advantage of this system is that it can extinguish fires not in sight of the nozzle. The ZERO 360 system is also significantly smaller and lighter than the current range of FIA approved Zero 2000 systems allowing for better packaging within the confines of the modern competition vehicle.
The ZERO 360 system uses only the finest components both in its construction and the complete installattion kit supplied with each system.
