The Rallycomp 300 has been developed by a new generation of electronic engineers in co-operation with successful co-drivers to meet the demands of a tough competition environment.
This combined with the many years of production experience making trip meters gives us the ability to offer a very modern instrument.
With the built-in graphical display the information can be large and clear and this meter ends up in a league of its own.
The display has a soft Amber backlight and measures 103x30 mm the display is transreflectic, meaning that the displayed information becomes more visible with increased light unlike regular trip meter displays.
In –spite of the high level of technology and wealth of information one of the primary directives was to produce a user friendly Trip Meter.
Calibration and re-calibration can be performed while driving and is quick and simple.

 | Pirelli Rally 2003, Motordrive Come 1st and 2nd
Mark Higgins-Bryan Thomas Won the Super 1600 class and came 3rd Overall of the Pirelli International Rally last weekend in their RED prepared Renault Clio, of course using MOTORDRIVE SEATS.
They didn't have it all the own way though as Guy Wilks-Phil Pugh had led the event outright on Friday night in their MOTORDRIVE equipped Ford Puma, before succumbing to Clutch problems (Half way up a tree !!!!)on Saturday
Gwyndaf Evans-Howard Davies, caused all the staff here at MOTORDRIVE problems on the two days before the rally, as a request came in for a new seat for Howard on the Wednesday before the rally and Ian Tilsley, Competition Manager from MG-Rover picked the finished seat up on his way to Scrutineering on the Friday Morning.
In hindsight a worthwhile effort as Gwyndaf and Howard came second to Mark and Bryan and 4th Overall

 | Higgins Tests on Astra, using motordriveseats
Mark Higgins and Bryan Thomas (former British Rally Championions) Tested the RED Renault Clio Super 1600 on the Astra Stages on 12th April 03, which used the forests of Clocaenog and Penmachno. Finishing 10th Overall in the Super1600cc car he considered himself happy with the test and now the car will be checked before his assault on the British Rally Championship, which starts in two weeks time on the Pirelli Rally based in Carlisle
